Catholic pilgrimage

Jesus falls the 3rd time this is one of the times where human frailty shows itself, that weakness is not something to be ashamed of and if Jesus falls we can fall too, it doesn't matter because Jesus teaches us that there is a difference between the human and divine. 

It is never easy to accept the task of carrying ones cross, there are many allegories that can be made about this event and I believe Jesus teaching is not about the glory of suffering or martyrdom but humility, the giving up of our pride in relativism. There is far more subtle things happening in life that we do not understand and thinking we can protect ourselves from death or suffering, it is not something in our total control. Prayer and accepting that God is the master of destinies is one part of the answer but there are many stations of Cross. Let us try and surrender our pride in security.

By doing this meditation I think I have made no progress and I can put myself in the Garden when sweating blood which is the old 1st Station, now I think I changed and moved on to the the condemnation of Jesus.

Today's reading from the Catholic Mass Calendar reminds us of the important events that Jesus celebrates the feast of the Unleavened Bread, the Passover meal. We are minded that Judas was an Apostle of Jesus and even though sin and betrayal are often very close to those people who are guiltless it does not bring anything but shame to the guilty. Jesus teaches the truth may not be known at the time but Gods will is often a mystery to us, which explains the chaos that so frequently plagues us all.
